I respect it for it's modernism in a medieval time.

Wow. That is pretty impressive I must say.
Wow, How could you lose an ancient war with that on your side.

Chu Ko Nu, it made great advances in the field of ballistic warfare. It was far from perfect, but still a nice little piece of history.

Probably shurike, kunai, and long bows for the ranged weaponry,

and for melee, most probably any straight sword.

I've always been a fan of the Katana. It's simple and sleek, versatile and strong, it gets the job done!

I have always been a huge fan of the pole-axe. It was a very multi-purpose weapon with three separate components to a seemingly simple killing device. There is the spear head or spike, (at the end of an iron-coated stave), an axe on one side, and a weighted hammer on the other, which can smash through skull and brains regardless of any armor, essentially. The most lethal and commonly used weapon in the battle of Agincourt and that time period, it was a force to be reckoned with and makes for some really bad-ass guard weaponry.

Definitely the Scottish Claymore.
Brutal, yet beautiful at he same time. Just like the culture it was birthed in.
